Reviewing communion was right on time for me and my teenage daughter. Sometimes I have moments and feel like "aha, I get it!" And other times it has been less meaningful to me, so the points you touched on are helpful. Thanks!
By the way, this was our third week visiting, and my 3-yr old son went to the small kids room with your wife & Lisa (big step for us) and enjoyed it! Before we got to the church, he asked if his cousins would be there like last time. I said, no, just us and other people but we don't know all their names yet. He said, "Pastor Noah?" Awww!
Thanks also for prayers for those of us who have experienced loss. My father died on Aug. 1st from complications of stroke. The praise song was especially relevant for me.
